Jason B
Digital experience director at HCL
Rado is methodical, knowledgeable and has a very high level of detail across UX/UI practices. He understands the requirements of the business and successfully maps the user/consumer needs and outcomes to highly detailed wireframes, templates and prototypes resulting in a greater user experience and building both customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. A great contributor to meetings and projects resulting in a strong link between creative and technical teams.
Tony S
Experience Design Lead at Lloyds Bank
Rado is a highly talented designer and a strong design practitioner with great expertise in modern design tools and techniques. I had the pleasure of working with him on a banking innovation project whilst at Lloyds where his ability to translate complex ideas into innovative, user-centred designs was invaluable. He helped shape our approach and deliver new concepts with a highly personable and collaborative attitude to the team. His mix of technical skill, creative problem-solving, and enthusiasm made a real impact.
Anyone looking for a designer who leads by example and enhances both the process and the people around him would be fortunate to work with Rado.
Neil B
Lead agile manager at YNAP
Rado came into the team as the senior product designer. Over the course of his contract here he has made that role into an integral part of the teams, helping develop the processes and way the teams work with him to get the best out of the projects. He is a good addition to any team, very friendly and eagerly participates in all team meetings and activities, which is rare in contractors. He’s been very professional throughout his time with the team and is someone I’d happily work with again in the future should the need arise.
How I work
1
Start with the problem, not the screen.
I spend time upfront understanding business context, user pain, and constraints, before opening Figma.
2
Validate early, refine often.
I prioritise rapid prototyping and testing to validate assumptions early, avoiding the high costs of late-stage feedback.
3
Design with engineers, not for them.
I work closely with developers and the product team throughout the entire lifecycle, from early feasibility checks to implementation support.
4
Measure what matters.
Good design should move a metric. I tie my work back to outcomes like conversion, retention, or task completion.
5
Use AI as an accelerant, not a crutch.
I use AI to speed up research, build prototypes quickly, and help with front-end code. This lets me iterate faster while making sure I'm still the one making the important design decisions.
When I'm not working, I'm all about finding joy and exploring new things! I love travelling and trying new foods, getting out on the tennis or paddle tennis court, and if there are waves or snow, you'll probably find me surfing or snowboarding. I'm happiest when I'm living a full and balanced life, recharging myself for the next creative challenge.
Creating memories with family and friends, and supporting each other through life’s ups and downs, means everything to me.
My love for music, both listening and playing, inspired me to create my own as a hobby. It fuels my passion and shapes my perspective. In my free time, I explore new music, attend concerts, and experiment with sounds in Logic Pro, keeping me inspired and motivated.
